The Racine Financial Empowerment Center in Racine (FEC) offers one-on-one, confidential professional financial counseling as a free public service. Services are available to all residents regardless of income.

The Racine FEC helps you reduce your debt, improve your credit, create a budget, grow your savings, connect to safe and affordable financial products, plan for home ownership, and much more.

To Help Racine Residents Achieve Brighter Financial Futures!

The Racine Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) offers free, professional, one-on-one financial counseling as a public service. The Racine FEC is a collaboration between the City of Racine and Housing Resources, Inc. (HRI), a local nonprofit organization. The FEC's financial counselors are professionally trained and certified by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC).

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, counselors are meeting with Racine residents by phone or video until it is safe to have in-person meetings again. The one-on-one professional financial counseling offered by the FEC in Racine is free to all City residents. There are no income or program requirements for Racine residents to receive counseling from the Racine FEC.

Receive a follow-up call from your counselor and gather the documents you might need for the session.
