Extension Racine County is a Division of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Extension educators connect people with university programs and resources in the areas of families and finances, health and well-being, youth development, agriculture, horticulture, and community development with the purpose of transforming lives and communities.
Health Care Network
Health Care Network, Inc. provides free or low-cost health care to residents of Racine County who are medically uninsured and have limited income. Services are provided by health care professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to care for the many patients in need in our community.

YWCA Southeast Wisconsin

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization helping people overcome challenges to build skills, find jobs and progress their life and careers. To provide employment, training and support services, Goodwill connects job seekers with employers in the community and inside its own retail, laundry and staffing social enterprises.
Racine County Human Services Here to Help
Here to Help is a direct line to critical services, including rent, food, mental health, and employment, for Racine County families. If you’re struggling to find the help you need, Here to Help can help you at 262-638-6400, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Housing Resources, Inc.
Housing Resources, Inc. is a HUD approved housing counseling organization that assists homebuyers and homeowners in the planning, purchase, maintenance and retention of their homes.
Racine Unified School District Parent University
An array of workshops and informational sessions designed to equip Racine families with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the school system, promote family wellness, enhance parenting skills, and encourage advocacy for student success.
RUSD Family Resource Center
The Center offers Racine Unified School District families with students attending Title I schools, a full range of learning materials for grades 4k-12, community-based services, family-focused resources and parenting skill supports to advance student academic achievement, family access and opportunity.
Legal Action of Wisconsin
Legal Action of Wisconsin has provided free legal services to low-income Wisconsin clients since 1968.
Racine Public Library
The mission of the library is to lift up the lives of the people of the Racine community by embracing community diversity, promoting inclusion, creating opportunity, and by supporting the development of community literacy through a love of literature, learning and civic engagement.
Our hands-on training in over 70 programs of study prepares students to enter new careers or advance their current ones. We value and serve students and communities in Kenosha, Racine and Walworth counties through a nationally recognized approach to career and technical education.

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan
LSS is on the front lines of addressing the well-being of vulnerable populations. A strong support system, treatment services, intensive counseling, and home health visits are what our clients need and what LSS provides on a daily basis.
Racine County Child Support Agency
The mission of the Racine County Child Support agency is to establish paternity, child support and medical support, to enforce child support and medical support orders, and to locate absent parents for the children and families of Racine County.
Racine Interfaith Coalition (RIC)
Racine Interfaith Coalition (RIC) is a non-profit organization made up of 28 member congregations and organizations who are united in our belief in the inherent value of every individual and our shared obligation to create a fairer, more equitable and more just community.
NAMI Racine County provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. All services are free of charge and available to all who seek mental health resources.
HOPES Center helps people in Racine end their homelessness through street outreach, supportive services for people with mental health challenges, and housing assistance.
Public Allies of Racine and Kenosha
Public Allies mission is to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it. In our 10-Month paid AmeriCorps community leadership apprenticeship we believe that everyone can lead. When young emerging leaders join Public Allies, they join a national network of emerging leaders dedicated to creating a future by and for everyone.

Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO)
The Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO) provides a pathway to self-sufficiency and housing stability for those experiencing homelessness in Racine County.
Women’s Resource Center provides domestic violence services to the greater Racine area. Services range from DV education to family healing activities to shelter. Women’s Resource Center’s purpose is to help individuals remove themselves from dangerous situations, and rebuild their self-confidence and self-sufficiency.
Bethany Apartments offers women and their children who have experienced abuse or violence a place to live, heal, and grow in a supportive, safe, and secure environment.
Racine County Housing Authority (HARC)
The HARC’s mission is to provide safe, decent, and sanitary housing for very low-income families, and to promote personal, economic, and social upward mobility to provide families the opportunity to transit from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.
Catholic Charities’ mission to “provide service to those in need, to advocate for justice and to call upon others to do the same” has been the core of our work since 1920. Building upon this, we measurably improve the lives of those we serve and empower them to reach their full potential.
